Picked away at the BIG BLUES today - I believe fishing would have been better but the conditions with everything going straight down without any current made it tough to get the lines away from the boat. Once everyone started to learn how to flip their lines out we started to catch the BIG BLUES in the 10 to 15lb range.
At times it seemed like the fishing was going to get very good then the fish would back off and then they would bite again. The fish ranged in size from 10 to 15lbs and most of the fish were caught on bait.
Very GOOD fishing for the BIG BLUES today. The BIG BLUES were in the 10 to 15lb range and most of the action was on bait - with the jigs coming alive later in the day.
We only picked at the BIG BLUES today along with a few ALBIE's. We could see the BLUES swimming through the chum slick and we were reading them under the boat but we just picked at them.
The fishing for BIG BLUES was VERY GOOD today and Saturday and on Sunday it was just GOOD fishing. The BIG BLUES are still in the 10 to 15 lb range and its bait jigs with the bait seeming to be the more productive.
We picked away at the BIG BLUES in a nasty ocean today and we also added a decent catch of ALBIE's. The BIG BLUES ranged in size from 10 to 15lbs and we caught them on jigs bait with the bait seeming like it was working better.
